HOLY CRAP!!! I adore Mulan. Like, adore is an understatement. I'm a feminist (yeah..yeah, I know...an Ana feminist is kinda self-contradictory) and I am thoroughly convinced that the only disney movie I will allow any daughters of mine to watch is Mulan because it is the only one that empowers women as opposed to making them sit around waiting for some funny looking guy on a horse. K, done now.
Lol. I've had that song stuck in my head for a long time. And a feminist is totally a paradox! It makes me laugh, actually. But yeah, she is definitely inspiration. I actually, when I first watched it, wanted to join the...well, the Asian army or whatever she's in and do all those cool things...like climb a big pole (while implicably impressing the boy!)
PS: I really don't know if that's the way to use implicably, but it sounds cool...whatev.
And yeah, being a feminist with anorexia makes me laugh too. But I think I can speak out against the harm of the media more than most feminists because I've lived it, ya know? Anyway, you're adorable and I thought I'd tell you so. <3
