Scott was such an awfully pretty, pretty boy. I sometimes thought he might have even been prettier than me but clearly that's just silly.

Oh, most certainly not. On the other hand, had you appeared publicly with him dressed so, some may have thought some very unseemly thoughts about your relationship. What I believe that the people of our childhood years called a "Boston Marriage".

Scott was touchy enough about that kind of thing as it was, though — "Boston Marriages," him and Hemingway, how pretty he was — I doubt he would have agreed to it. 'sides, that picture was taken before I met him. *pouts*
