My finger's progressing well on the healing front. Thanks for the concern. It's hard at this point to determine whether I'll be able to play cello by Monday's orchestra rehearsal, but I'll remain hopeful - what else is there to do?

Tonight is the first night of Hanukah. I lit the menorah and left it on my kitchen table by the window (a traditional location). I was having a magnificent evening. The weather was fabulous last night. So fabulous that I decided to walk to church to meet people for our meeting and carpool with them over to the restaurant.
