""To make a long story short" is a phrase whose origins are long and rambling"

Well, I am finally back from visiting my family in Jasper, a visit that was originally only to be for 4 days but turned out to last almost a month. For those of you that have never been to Jasper, or Walker County for that matter, know you that it is located adjacent to the Outer Limits and directly across from the Twilight Zone, a veritable vortex ( Read more... )

Were the puppies full dachshund or was there some jungle fever going on?

Milk-chan sucks more dubbed than it does subbed. The only cool part, the Robot Dog who tells people to suck his dick, is censored in the US version. Tom goes to the Mayor is just fucking stupid. I predict a very short life for it. Sealab has kinda sucked, but aqua teens are still funny and I never ever get tired of Home Movies. We need season 2 of Venture Bros!

And those stupid 'love is' things never work for me, if they're supposed to be anything more than a strip of flat colored boxes...

Nope these are all dachshund, all brendles (however you spell it, tiger-striped looking) like Bo, the thing is tho the mom is a regular size variety but a runt, so she is the same size as Bo who is a mini, so they should end up being a bit bigger. You want one? Gypsy could use some back-up there to represent her German heritage you know.

Yeah, ATF and Venture Bros have been carrying the line-up, still awesome as always, I am just still perplexed about Home Movies status on the channel, I think the same animation studio that made it is making a show for Noggin so that might explain the lack of new episodes, but still, they run ATF into the round showing it every night, why not the equally awesome Home Movies? I need my McGirk fix dammit, I can never seem to catch it when it is on!

Yeah, that quiz was lamer than Christopher Reeves legs, but at least the colors I got was cool, and in the end isn't that what really matters. I think we all learned a valuable lesson today about the computers and their filthy, filthy lies.

I saw that new Noggin show! It freaked me out, because some of the characters look and certainly sound like the HM chars... I thought I Was watching 'HM:All Grown Up' or something... but I don't think it's the same characters. They must be busy though, doing two different shows at once. HM is out on DVD now too!

And as for the doggies... I can't have one at Fagan, and plus I'm not a dog person. Plus my mom would kill me if I brought her ANOTHER dog. She's already got three wild little critters...

Yeah, I found Brendan's site and read about the dvd's and how the show was put out by Scholastic of all people, I guess they decided to cancel the show in order to divert the cash into making improvements to their book-fairs (which is probably the one thing I miss about being a kid).

We can't have pets here either, as in it was one of the BIG rules mentioned to us not to do, yet Chris stubbornly maintains we are getting one, with no small encouragement from someone who shouldn't be encouraging it unless she is going to pay the extra fees we'll incur and babysit the thing 24-7. Besides, I know exactly who will really end up taking care of and cleaning up after it and I also don't particularly care to have the house reeking of dog-shit.

I don't know, I think your mom would be overjoyed to have another dog, that's what the word on the street is, in fact I hear that's all she wanted for Xmas this year.... one stop shopping, just think about it....

Hey man, I agree with you about adult swim. (Eventhough its a cool show) I think they're to hung up on Family guy and Futurama. It seems like they're phasing out home movies just like they phased out Johnny Bravo and I am Weasel from the Cartoon Cartoon line-up.

The test, "sucks my ass". I love the fact that I can be unspecific with my answers and get the same shit I already know. Thanks "shared_boxers", I think I know what I love now, before, I wasn't really sure.:-\

Yeah, it would be nice if they started working in something to take their place, I have every episode of Family Guy, Futurama, and Simpsons playing in my head at all times to the point where I could rattle off entire episodes of dialog line by line and if living in a Mad Max style world where everything was destroyed I could recreate them to within 90% accuracy in order to convince Captain Walker to fly everyone to the Never Neverlands. Then again, maybe I just need to keep watching those shows instead of having my brains hard drive over-written with even more new stuff.

Yeah, the quizzes are always like John Edwards type things where it just tells you what you know, what still wacky fun at times.

All of those episodes are on season 3 I believe, probably the best season which I inexplicably don't have, only got the season 2 boxset, but then again I have a ton of vcds with most of the episodes on it. I never mind the comments being long, I myself can't seem to write an entry shorter than a novela since I tend to try to explain things and go off on multiple tangents, it's good hearing from you. Yeah, I am wanting to start collecting those plug-in and play things even tho I have all of those games on mame or other emulators, there are a ridiculous variety of them now, the Ms. Pacman one I really want since it has galaga but the tetris one would be equally awesome, especially if it has the mode where one can make the giant blocks for extra points.
