Last year, all I wanted was Hulk Hands for my birthday. This year, I have to have Shrek ears, Shrek Operation, a Shrek Pez dispenser, and eat Shrek M&Ms. I have no logical explanation for this phenomenon, to reason why I'm being completely sucked into the Merchandise black hole that seems to be be reopened every time a new block buster comes out ( Read more... )

Shrek [i]Operation?[/i] Like that Operation game where you have to remove the Spare Ribs, Charley Horse, Bread- basket from the body-cavities of a cardboard patient with insulated tweezers? Only with Shrek as the patient? Wow! Where do they have it! I wanna at least [i]see[/i] it, though finances don't permit purchase at this juncture!

I've never read any Harry Potter either. Started the first book and didn't get past the first page. It seemed boring!

Yep, it's the board game operation, but pulling Shrek-related stuff out of a Shrek body (onion breath, toe jam etc.). I really want to get it, as I always wanted that game as a kid, but my parents/Santa would never come through with the goods.... I've seen the game at Kmart and Target, along with a bajillion other Shrek games. I think they're all on this site:

It's funny you say that you found Harry Potter boring, because I was talking to my boyfriend about the HP books, and he said his friend thought they were really bad fantasy, with no really bad, evil character. I'm sure I'll get round to reading it one day though.
