Just getting over a nasty stuffed-head cold. I'm killing it with red wine, that'll fix it! I went to work the last three days 'cause I have no sickies, but I have the next four days off for bed-rest and lotsa book-reading.

I bought a Badge-it from Hamleys! It makes 3cm buttons (badges as we sa in Australia and the UK) and it is fabulous. My mum cracked the shits because it has to go in the big suitcase which she has to transport around! She says I may have to post it back to Oz. Poo. But it is a fabulous machine!

The shopping is pants in London. I mean, it's GREAT, but it's pants because it's so expensive. Admittedly, I ask a lot of a pound. I ask that it do the work of AU$2.56 but it's just not up to the job. Simon bought me a Lomographic Coloursplash camera for a going-away present! It has a coloured flash that makes the colours of what you're taking a photo of go all weird. Plus there's a long-exposure option so you can doo blurry, ghosty-things with it! There are very few instructions on how exactly to use it but I think that may be the point, ( Read more... )
