Hartman called me this morning to inform me that the late, great journalist Hunter S. Thompson "fatally shot himself in his Aspen home." I finished reading Fight Club yesterady at work. It was really good. At first I kept trying to decide whether I like the book or the movie better, but after finishing the novel, I realized it's impossible to compare the two. today was the first "real" band practice and I'm super pleased. Dustin is a lot better of a drummer than I thought he was. I really like most of these kids and their styles are all similar or complimentary to mine, so it's so easy writing material with them.
