All of the sudden, my Microsoft Word says that it is not "installed for this user". The only accounts i have are mine and the guest account. Why would it do that?

Additionally, when I try to click on links in AIM profiles, it just opens up my documents and settings folder instead of the link.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME PUHLEASE

i think it has something to do with my user account because NOW since i just tried to access my antivirus program, i had similar results to Word.

any ideas?

Under user accounts in the control panel, does it list your name as a Computer Administrator? If not, what does it say? Have you tried changing that?

The fact that it happened suddenly is quite strange though.

yeah it still says im the administrator, im the only account other than guest, so i basically have to be.
