Okay, I have to talk about Gossip Girl. I didn't try this show out in the beginning because the title offended me, and for the most part I don't like "teen shows". Buffy was an oddity, and Veronica Mars wasn't the typical teen show until season 3, which I hated. Ahhh, you are almost all caught up. The scene in 1x07 Victor Victrola where the drag queen asks him who that girl is on stage and he replies "I have no idea", was the first scene I ever saw of this show (while not just flipping channels) and that did it for me. LOVE!

The idea that all girls do is gossip. I don't like people who gossip non-stop to begin with, and the concept of rich white teens with too much money and no parents (most of the time) has not only been done ad nauseum, but it is an easy excuse to just go for the ridiculous. Honestly, the wasteful nature that is displayed in the show often turns my stomach, but at the same time, it would be nice if everyone took such good care of themselves. And as much as I don't support the throwing away of good money, I often want to punch Dan for being so judgmental.

My cousin sent me more excerpts from the books. They are REALLY bad, and poorly written, so I have no dea how they sell well.

Ok, Nate and Jenny need to have an inappropriate relationship and Blair and Chuck need to get together for an epic OTPness. I was hoping for an interesting couple in Rufus and Lilly and well, that happened.
And wtf was with the two girls tonight? I mean I know Bex from before, but the other girl with "I'm on a dare from my friends"? WOT

And I was going to get offended at the whole "porn in fandom" thing, but it's so true. TWW was probably one of the very few shows I didn't watch for the ships. OH and SG1/SGA (cause their rule is that the characters can't go there SIGH!) But other than that.. yeah.
Wait, The Office, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls.. even Gossip Girl. I don't watch them for the ships either.
I'm confusing myself.

The Nate and Jenny thing would freak me out, with her being 14 and all... Ed was really concerned about his scenes with her since the actress is the actual age of her character. *pets Ed* I know that Nate & Jenny get together in the books, but I'm not sure how well it would work on the show... but it is clear that she likes him.

I don't know what they were getting at with the two women and Rufus, but hopefully it is over. Also, where did all the new "heathers" come from? Seriously, we have fake!Blair, and her minions, most of which I haven't ever seen before. WTF show?

And you may not watch most shows for the couples, but you ship them. You are the one hoping that everyone will sex each other all the time, and that is being in fandom for the porn!

And 2020 is actually a very good estimate. I have no choice but to start soon because of a promise I made to Halcyon_shift. And I actually really wanted to start rebuilding my first vid (that died in the crash) over the holidays, but peer guardian doesn't support Vista yet (they are working on it) so I can't get the software I need.

I watch Gossip Girl! Chuck is my fave too. We all have to have our guilty pleasure shows. Of course, I cry REAL tears over One Tree Hill, but no need to get into THAT.

C4J already knows that I watch it. She made me write a list of the shows I'm watching this season down for her one time. WHERE IS SHE? I've tried calling her twice but I got no answer. I MISS HER. :(

I've been e-mailing and e-mailing, and NOTHING! How much do you want to bet that Samantha and Corey decided to buy themselves Christmas presents instead of paying the internet bill? And they never answer the phone, and they don't give Jenn her messages either... really fun roommates/family Jenn has there.
