Jiminy crickets. You deserve a day at the spa for all of that. Or, perhaps, more time in the pool with the nieces. :)

I'm thinking both a spa day and pool time are necessary!

Yikes! You didn't have a crate to confine him in? Next time, lock him in the bathroom. But at least you got quality niece time. :-)

Unfortunately, Lilly (the dog) is about 15 years old, not crate trained, blind, and mostly deaf. She barks her head off if left in small spaces or in the backyard (neighbors have complained) so I didn't have many options. I did get smart eventually and just left the back door open for her to go out as needed and that reduced the poop clean up from house-wide to just the small(ish) amount left when her ancient legs didn't quite get her outside in time. Poor, poor Lily.

I felt to bad for the dog - I suspect this will be the last time I will agree to dogsit for her!

I did submit a comment on-line to Sherwin-Williams! Thanks for the encouragement.
