Things making me happy this week:

1) It's been a peaceful, dare I say, dull week here at work without Bossman and New!Bossman. New!Bossman returns next week. I don't expect the level of dull to change with his return, but the level of peace probably will go down.

Went home this weekend and spent time with Dad. The weekend included:

1) An all-you-can-eat crab and tri-tip dinner on Saturday. It was a fundraiser for the high school FFA program. We ate all we could and then some. Dad and I had to roll ourselves into the house we were so fat afterward. Fat, but happy.

Last night was the first choir rehearsal for our Winter concert series. It looks to be a good mix of classical and contemporary, which should suit our rather eclectic mix of singers. I'm slightly terrified though after realizing that we will be singing at least one song each in English, Latin, Russian, Hebrew, German, French and Japanese. Ack! How ( Read more... )

So, my weekend was, to put it quite literally, very, very shitty. The dog I was house-sitting for had an epic case of diarrhea which meant I had to clean just about every surface of the house multiple times. The Good:

1) My weekend was, overall, very good. I did lots of yard work including digging up all my potatoes which yielded me a bucket of perfect  new potatoes plus one mutant potato that had to weigh 2 pounds! Ack!
