We're two days into the Week 1 debates, and all the debates have been started. It looks like one of them has even ended. Discuss.

If anyone here has any sort of artistic skills, we could use a community icon. I'd rather post debates and announcements using something more community specific.

I'm surprised that goatunit won't even hazard an attempt. It may not be the most convincing argument, but the argument can still be made that restrictions should be in place.

I blame it on the work-week. Those of us with full-time jobs have about 6 hours of free time a day, max, Mon-Thu. And other responsibilities that have to take place in that free time, as well.

The first forefit didn't take long. I'm still not sure why someone would give up that easily. If you don't understand a topic, that's the time to talk out of your behind and pull logic arguments in. Start throwing around definitions and hope one sticks. That sort of thing.

I didn't understand what was meant by "legal status." I don't think I really know the difference between blogs and other political websites, either. I'm completely unequipped for the subject I was given and don't have the time to spare on learning the ins and outs of a multi-facetted issue like this.

Though I am rather disappointed by the fact that my victory was not due to my abilities, I expect that I'll have the chance to prove my "skills" next week. OH and if you don't mind, I'd rather not debate the same topic. I like variety.
