Bugger it all!

And it's over......
Back to work this week. Took last week off to celebrate my birthday- well, it's not every year you turn 50!
50!
Shit. I was ok turning 30. And even 40 I embraced with open arms. But I am having just a tad bit of difficulty wrapping my head around 50.

Should have posted sooner that Bailey is back home. And so far so good - touch wood!

I am so mad!
Bailey is back in hospital. And it's all my fault.
Well, technically it is. But I blame the local vet.
Let me paint the picture. As most of you know Bailey is diabetic. And there is currently an Australia wide shortage of the special animal syringes that we use for his insulin. So the only substitute were human ones with the dosage marked. I called ( Read more... ) -
The Kings Speech
What a brilliant movie! Mum & I went yesterday to see it, as I had won two movie tickets at work for being so fabulous...:)
Throughly loved the whole thing. Geoffrey Rush & Colin Firth were just awesome, and Helena Bonham Carter was so fun as the Queen Mother ( well, she wasn't that here of course). But I think the characters were pretty spot on

Humpday
Humpday can be both wonderful and boring at the same time
On one hand, two days down. On the other, still two days to go till the weekend.
Still, this week it's not too bad. I have Friday off, so I get a long weekend. And after being low bowler lat week, I get to sit out. So a weekend coming up with no bowling!

It is so very boring here agIn today. Far too quiet and I am bored.
But I did get a lovely bunch of roses yesterday from my USA friend, so that was a plus
