Another spasmodic update
Last time I posted was to tell you all that mum passed away.
Well now it's to tell you all that dad has also passed. In fact, he died 5 weeks after mum. On the 5th May this year. To say that my brother & I were shocked beyond belief would be an understatement.

Spasmodic update
Seems that I haven't visited here in ages, and the only time I update is with bad news.
My darling mother passed away just over three weeks ago on the 28th March. She's been poorly for so long, and fought the good fight so she is now at peace.
I miss her so damned much, & I'm struggling to cope with her passing. I know that our parents can't live ( Read more... ) -
She's gone
Haven't posted in awhile I know.
My mum passed away last night. She fought a good fight & now she's at peace. We had two more years with her than I thought we would.
I don't know what I feel. I'm sad of course, but probably also numb at the moment. Can't sleep, even though I'm really tired

Been awhile since I posted & that's because life is so damn busy & stressful.
Mum is now living in a nursing home, as she now needs more care than we can provide at home. She's doing pretty good, & her mind is fine. It's her body that's ( Read more... ) -
Life goes on
It's been ages since I updated. And frankly it's because life has been very sucky and dramatic.
Bailey was not well and was in hospital again. Seems that he now has a neck problem that can cause him pain. A slipped disc us the likely cause, pushing on his spine and causing his legs to be very unsteady. Nothing we can do for him because of all his ( Read more... ) -

Long time no post!
Haven't updated in a while, mainly because I don't wanna jinx anybody with sickness! Seems every time I post details that everyone is fine, the shit hits the fan again.
So I'll just say that I am happy with the family at the moment. LOL
Bailey though is really doing so well, and the specialist is do pleased with his progress. It's almost like we ( Read more... ) -
Good news!
Had to take Bailey to the specialist tonight for his check up - and he is extremely happy with Bailey's progress! He can't believe at what a difference the operation has made to him, and is so pleased with the way his eye is healing. And we can leave the plastic collar off as long as we watch him to make sure that Bailey doesn't scratch his eye.

He came through!
Bailey came through his op ok, and the vet is really happy with the result. He's sleeping off the effects tonight - on a heated pad and well wrapped up no less - but the good news is he is gonna be ok!
