Rickie and I drove down to Florida last week. Our friend Kate's cancer came back for the third time and she wasn't doing well. I sat with her in the hospital on and off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then we drove down to St. Cloud to visit our niece and her family for two days. Does anyone remember the 1967 movie "Bedazzled" with Dudley Moore and Peter Cook? I don't know about the remake, but the original is wonderfully funny. When we took Cody in we agreed to take care of him, feed him, clothe him, drive him, spoil him, and love him. All he had to do was go to school and pass his classes.
