*G* my house is a slightly scruffy old farm house, I can clean till the cows come home but it's never going to look anything other than comfortable and slightly scruffy:)

Partial, radiators downstairs only.. there's a thermostat on the boiler but it' a very old boiler so it's not reliable and nothing gauging the temperature in the house

For the housekeeper one I wrote " Yes indeed, her name is Mrs Danvers and I don't think she likes me very much... she's always inviting me to look at the view from the upstairs windows and I think she fancied The Boy's first wife!"

Then deleted it :) Actually I may just edit it back in

An amusing American meme, I'm almost tempted to do it. I hear you on putting groceries away. I loathe that job.

The bible one made me grin. As though we all have a shelf full of bibles and stand and think "which colour bible shall I read today?". Bizarre :)

I know, very odd indeed. As it happens I have several Bibles but never really thought about a favourite Binding, favourite translation yes; I love the fact that the Authorised Version is wall to wall badgers!

Oh there's bound to be gunk in there too.. I hate cleaning ovens!
