And it feels very holiday-ish. I'm here with all the windows and doors open because there's a pigeon stuck in the chimney and I'm hoping she'll see sense and get out of there under her own steam

It's a really annoying compulsion to investigate broken teeth/missing fillings with your tongue isn't it! I also hate when it's filled as for a few days it feels like a huge boulder instead of a normal tooth.
I am going to have to take advantage of my local laundrette service to wash our bed throw as Lady is kindly rolling in the dust and then sleeping in the same spot and there is a distinct dirty patch! At least they are leaving dead things outside (mostly hapless birds!). Our local laundrette will also do the duvets - I must get organised and get them ready for next week.
I've been sorting and cleaning - must be something in the air!
I simply can't resist it and yes, fillings feel so weird till you get used to them
I need to take the duvets to the launderette at some point, luckily our machine is big enough to cope with the bedspreads
I've just stopped.. shattered but all the glass, china, cookware and cutlery has been washed, dried ( polished in the case of glasses and silverware) and replaced on freshly washed cupboard shelves.
Well when I say " all" I mean all that was in the cupboards; the stuff on the dresser and around the house is still to be done
So yesterday morning having washed and replaced the cover I put a cat blanket over the spot where CBC likes to sleep the days away only to return from work to find him indeed sleeping in the right place but having unfortunately tidily wiped his paws on the bed cover before settling down and then, equally tidily, deposited half a mouse on the pillow! Sending good vibes along for that tooth and yes, the compulsion to keep poking that spot is annoying but true.

I do hope Flagrante won't cost you an arm and a leg to fix...we just had to get new brakes on our older car and OUCH.
I hope your tooth doesn't hurt!
(You are incorrigible...all that weekend tidying! LOL)
Poor pigeon!

Tooth is one that was root filled yonks ago so no pain luckily
And I'm really fretting about the pigeon now.. I can't reach her and she's too scared to come down.
I have cleaned myself to a standstill! Shattered now :)
Ouch to your garage bill; I suspect I'm in for a similar painful expense
