Gah Lost finale gah!

I will attempt to put this under a cut and we'll se how it goes.  This is cut for all of you who loved the Lost finale and do not want to hear me rant and/or you wish to avoid spoilers because spoilers there will be.

OK, when I saw the first episode my first thought was, hmmm they are in purgatory or limbo but it would be more interesting if they were in a time bubble. My husband says I should write this stuff. By the third season it lost me. I felt like they didn't really know what they wanted to do with it and that we were being stung along. I've seen better fan fiction! I did like the characters but if all you are going to give me is characters, why not make is a soap opera? Cuz to me that is all soap operas are, characters thrown into situation after situation with no real end in sight.

This show just kept raising questions, I never felt anything really got resolved. The whole side ways time-line seemed like, gee maybe we should have done this...oh wait...we can. Or some writer felt their idea was better and not to hurt their feelings lets do that too.
