A good decision I think!

Although I am not in the AA - I vowed I wouldn't ever join when they had those advert some years ago saying they were the fourth emergency service. I thought it was so insulting to all the lifeboatmen and coastguards.

So I joined the RAC instead :)

Hee - I hadn't thought about that advert (even though I lived on the Cornish coast at the time.

I suppose, for me, it was the AA I was a member of in the past, as Dad had been and they had always been great.

They also had an easier booking page for non-members rather than the RAC
