The Day's Are Speeding Along Already

Well back on Thursday I did do a walk locally - I am so lucky, as I was actually only out of the house for 45 mins, yet this is where I was walking.

I have no idea who Borge was. I never drink. Can't stand the taste of ANY alcohol. I pack my stuff away right after New Year's. Cleaned my shoes? I sometimes wipe them down but not polish :P

Victor Borge was a Norwegian (?) musician, and a stand-up comic, who used his classical skills to increase the knowledge of classical music ... but you didn't have to be a classical musician to enjoy much of his fun.

Until the end, Dad used to, every Sunday morning clean his & Mum's shoes, ready for Church ... a fun memory

Nope...no one I know over here ever heard of him. My dad used to polish and clean his shoes when he was younger. But later on he got cold and would wear mukluks around the house and loafers or athletic shoes outside.

Dad always wore leather shoes (slippers in the house, and trainers or boots in the garden) ... in fact the day of Mum's funeral I saw him looking at his (brand new) shoes ... so I assured him that they were clean
