I had a lovely walk yesterday, and another short one today. Yesterday I had to walk to get Nick's birthday pressie in the post, and also to deliver Claire's pressie to their house. We are required to fill a form in every few years to say we still live at the same address and still have the same bank details, to be witnessed by someone unrelated, to continue receiving our nurses' pensions, and so you can see why the nick-name.
When we sent mine off - in November(!) - we had forgotten to put the occupation of my witness. So now both her and I will have to sign and date again, in case I have died in the meantime, presumably - and put 'retired civil servant' in the relevant box.
