My home computer security/virus program is currently with Norton. Does anyone recommend anything else that might be cheaper and good?

I'll need it to run on minimum two machines (netbook and laptop)

I use a program called eSet. I don't know about cheaper - I haven't paid for Norton in years - but I do like it a lot better. It doesn't seem to slow my computer down the same way that Norton does, and I haven't had a problem with viruses since I've started using it nearly two years ago. I bought mine at a local(ish) store that was able to sell me four subscriptions for the price of about two, which allowed me to load it on Bill's laptop and my laptop, and we still have two subscriptions that we can use next year. I don't know if you can find that deal where you are (the store's called MicroCenter), but I do recommend the program.

I use the free Microsoft Security Essentials. They're good about updating it and i've never had a problem with it slowing down my computer.
