Huh.

I am actually considering getting a Facebook thing.

Should I?

YES! You don't have to add everyone if you don't want to, and the privacy settings can be set as high as you want. :)

I say you try it. You never know, you might like it. I tried it a year ago and decided after a few months that it wasn't for me, but I am glad I tried it because now at least I know why I don't like it ( ... )

This. So much this.

Also, if you get a FB, be prepared to use it. I have a FB that I never use, and all that happens is people chastise me for not using my FB because then I would know things. I would also know things if they contacted me but apparently I'm old-fashioned about this stuff... Anyway, I feel like, if I didn't have a FB, I would be chastised less. But then, maybe I'd just be chastised about getting a FB. ROCK AND HARD PLACE.

The weird thing is, I was always chided about not having FB before I got it, but now that I've tried it and left, no one bothers me much about how I don't have it anymore. I'm not sure if they just don't realize that I've left, or if they figure that as long as I've tried it, I've done my part.

I got mine because my family stopped telling me stuff, just posting it on Facebook. Otherwise, I'd still be avoiding it, honestly. all the same, it turns out you can make it all very private and tell no one so they can't hassle you without permission. You don't have to become a junkie, telling the whole world about your every movement if you don't want to! Hope that helps?
