today was my first day as a substitute teacher. i don't even have to begin to tell you that this is nowhere close to something that i want to be doing for the long-term, but it went surprisingly well. i taught a 4th grade class. I just made an appointment yesterday with Jen at wet (a friend recommended Lindsey at wet, but she wasn't available so the receptionist sent me to Jen). I will let you know how it goes!

why did you end up doing the subbing thing? i told you you hate kids! i think you should wear really over-the-top yet in-dress-code outfits to school and be the wacky weird teacher they remember forever...
