Book-Ness

Jan 29, 2009 18:28

I have watched, loved and enjoyed 'The Princess Bride' many times.

I know it's a work of fiction.

It doesn't change the fact that every time I read the book I end up googling European History convinced Florin exists(ed).

A work of genius.

It is fab. Didn't like the book half as much, but it did have more 'history' in.

I think I like the book more. It's the intrusive narration, I really like that. When it's funny. And Goldman's is.

I must have watched it twenty times. I love Peter Falk as the grandad.

Andre the giant was being talked about on QI last week. I love the film too, never read the book though, sounds like a should.

yeah, I suppose you'll be telling us that Geldar and Australia don't exist either.

Your purposeful misinformation tactics will not work on me.
