It's Official

As of today, I am officially a single woman again.   The divorce went through smoothly and I got the papers in the mail today.     The weird thing is after everything that's happened in the last 15 months,  it was a bit anti-climatic.     I'm not sad, just relieved that it's over and I can really move on now

I'm glad you can move on, as far as the name I would probably change back, unless you feel like its more "your" name than his

my thoughts run to the future, would you feel strange having your ex's name with a new beau? It might be awhile before you are ready for all that but it might be sooner than you think.

I have thought about it and I think you are right. If I really do want to make a fresh start, it should include my last name as well.
