Well, it looks like I was wrong about my roommates medical stuff. She did have a blood clot in her lung after all, which was big enough to cause fluid buildup in her lung, which led to the pheumonia. She's still in the hospital; they thought she might me able to come home this past Sunday, but she had a fever, and the clot still isn't ( Read more... )

Well, after being 'convinced' that my roommate had a bloodclot in her lung, the hospital has now figured out that what she really has is pheumonia.   Which, if they had diagnosed and treated properly when she first went into the hospital on FRIDAY, she'd probably be out by now.   As it is, she'll have to be there for at least a couple more days ( Read more... )

A couple of days ago my roommate came home from work in pain; she thought she might have pulled a chest muscle while exercising. It seemed to be a little better the next day, but yesterday it came back even worse and she finally went to the hospital. Had a wonderful time last night with epol in Athens. We wondered around downtown for a bit before deciding on the 40 Watt Club. They had dj's all night, and I danced the New Year in. I haven't been dancing in ages and it was a lot of fun. I also won a copy of the new Radiohead cd from 99X, which was funny since I normally never listen to that ( Read more... )
