I'm totally willing to congratulate you...but I have NO IDEA what NSERC is.

LOL well thanks anyway! NSERC is the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and I got a 3 year scholarship from them to do my PhD. It's pretty much the holy grail of grad student funding!!
