heading back home again tomorrow, for the saddest reason ever. I miss her already, I can't believe my grandma won't be there anymore.

So i have started apartment hunting b/c i want to move this summer. My place now is just not going to be big enough when Dave moves here. I have seen a couple of places now each have good things about them, but both are avaliable in april. I have been in montreal for almost 2 weeks now and i had to come back to edmonton to move my stuff. It has been fantastic in montreal 20ish degrees and sunny, in edm it is snowing and -10 and windy!! so i finally found a place to live in montreal. Not right downtown but within 20 mins by transit. I love the apt and the landlords are great, it wasn't my first choice in location but those were the cards i was delt and i am happy i will not be homeless when i move. Also quebec has the thing were all leases end on June 30 and everyone moves on July ( Read more... )

I will be out and down with edmonton in 2 weeks, except to come back in april and actually move my stuff. It seems that the whole world is conspiring against me to come back to toronto to visit. so after all the talk about wanting me to go to Trenton for my first posting i get an email friday afternoon right before i was suppose to leave for jasper and it says...your posting is montreal. MOntreal?? what? i wasn't expecting that at all, but i am so thrilled! so excited and i everyone can come visit me b/c montreal is such a cool city.
