I almost look forward to crappy rainy days, so I can stay inside without feeling guilty or frustrated. i want a house too, but as long as i stay in montreal it will be apts and condos. but a balcony is good enough for me.

Yeah I'll never be able to afford a house in Van. But at least I can maybe try to find apartments in houses! having a balcony here would be better - I just feel so trapped inside when I'm in the apartment! :(

looking at the house prices in calgary makes even stouffville look reasonable! i want a really big backyard so i can grow tons of vegetables so we can store them and eat them all year. oh, and a place i can decorate myself, with my own stuff, in the way i want it. yes, that would be good. not in the near future, though, i'm afraid. i feel your pain!
