so here's this short film i made for my visual anthropology class this fall. we had to examine one part of our culture through the medium of ethnographic film. ethnographies are basically the end result of anthropological research. so here's mine. enjoy

i am not my daily worth
i am half black and half white
and i defeat them in the blink of an eye
i see their tongues roll back into their mouths
and only hear rewound sounds

let me bring it to their door step
and revel in their trip up
when they don't know what they're looking into
or what they're looking out of

the other day i found out my nephew likes sonic youth. he's one. i'm a proud uncle.
