....does LJ seem to be kind of dead or slow lately? I know that I've been so busy that I haven't had much time to comment on friends' journals or even community journals, but I scrolled through some of the places I belong to and noticed they seemed kinda dead too. Internet communities slow down quite a bit over the summertime. >> People get this odd notion that they should be outside, enjoying the sunshine or something.

Unfortunately we haven't had tons of sunshine here ( well it's overcast...it starts out sunny and then gets gray by the afternoon)... ;)

My Flist is pretty lively, but I've not had many commments for the most recent story I posted at SOA ect.August is holiday month in the UK.

I think over here kids are starting school and there are people who seem to be taking last minute vacations.

Well LOL I hope I've 'blasted' some 'fat' this summer by running and biking as much as I have. I've been exhausted this week from all the running I've done. :P

I've had a hard time keeping up with my LJ. I haven't had a whole lot in the way of bloggable material in the past couple of weeks other than reconnecting with some old friends on facebook. I'm still really ambivalent about using the site at all but I've found/been found by friends with whom I'd lost touch years ago. How's work going for you? Some of my trainer friends have hard a really hard time this summer, others are sailing through. I hope all is well and I am happy to read about Robert!

Work has been a mixed bag this entire summer, J. It seems to be feast or famine. July was kind of a slow month because in May and June people are gearing up to 'get in shape' for the hot weather but many also want to switch to outdoor activities like swimming, biking or running rather than train in a gym. I can see that because I'm outdoors a lot when the weather is warm. Strangely though this week and last have seen me get a lot of new clients.
