Priorities are difficult to keep in the correct order. Or maybe it is life goals that I am trying to access some thought into. I just returned from an interview at Whole Foods to work in the bakery. The interview went well and they will probably offer me a job in the next day or two. Is that what I want to be doing though? Currently, I am working ( Read more... )

i understand this dilemma. indeed. unfortunately, there doesn't seem like much one can do about the evilness of Whole Foods buying out the little guys...and for me, I hardly have another option to buy organic things and such in this giant city. well, there is trader joes- hah! but there is no Wedge. there is no North Country Co-op. there are little tiny tiny health food stores with rotten apples and overpriced organic things ( ... )

ha- rotten apples and overpriced organic things! yes, unfortunately that does describe a number of the "little guys".
I have now officially been offered a job at Whole Foods. I need to call them back within the next couple of hours to let them know...
Maybe that place isn't as horrible as I have in my head to be. So many places are so much more evil. At least they sell good quality stuff- it's not like I would be working at Cub or anything.
Another layer to this situation that I didn't mention is that I am dating a person who is a manager at Whole Foods. It is in a different department so he wouldn't be my boss or anything. He has no idea that I even applied there yet though. I must call him and see if it would be creepy if we worked at the same place. yikes!
