Aw sweetie...please post a link to the pics and a warning. It's hard to know who might be reading your posts on someone else's friends list and what they might have gone through, and how the pictures might make them feel. That way you can still post whatever you want to and people can make choices about whether they see that over breakfast or whether they click when they're ready.

I have to second Ningyo on that. I read her friends list sometimes and even though I'm sturdy to such things, that doesn't mean everyone is ready to look.

I know it's fucked, and I know that seeing the pictures just makes it evident how fucked it is, but it isn't right to force them on someone, and even unknowingly, that is forcing them on someone.

Yup, I got the message the first time - you don't have to convince me or make me feel worse. You're right, I should have stuck 'em behind a lj cut - I was in a bit of a rage when I posted and it didn't even occur to me. I apologize, once again.
