As cheesy as it sounds, you've got to do what makes you happy... and as problematic as it is, most of us don't really know what it is that makes us happy.

I think it's a good idea that you're taking this time off to face reality. And I think you should definitely do the camp counseling thing. A year goes by fast.

It seems like most people I know at least have a CLUE what they want to do. I really don't. All I know is that sitting at a desk is the worst job I could ever imagine and that knocks out about 85% of "real jobs" so you know...

I'll figure it out. Maybe. We'll see!

The real world is scary, but being stuck in an office from 9-5 every day for the rest of your life is even scarier. Stick to your guns and do whatever makes you happy for the moment. It'll be worth all the uncertainty you feel when you don't dread waking up each day.

Being stuck in an office 9-5 is one of the most terrifying thoughts ever!!

I'm glad someone agrees with me on that!

I miss you! I'll have to drive up and see you one weekend. Just let me know what works for you.

Yes, that Halloween was memorable! Love my tall skinny boys... never end up dating them though. How depressing. Anyway, "Misery" is a great movie. So disturbing. Hahah.

I don't think a year is too bad. I feel like time flies at my job. If it's something you feel like you would enjoy, then devoting a year to it probably won't be bad! Hey, if you can make it through college, I think you could handle a year at this outdoor youth thing :)

I work a lot of weekends, but when I get one free I'll be sure to let you know. I'd probably rather come to Orlando especially if my roommate is home cause yeah....I don't really like being woken up at 6 AM by the pots and pans being swung around the kitchen.

That Halloween was GREAT. You know I can't get over the whole fact that the guy at Barnie's gave you a discount for having a movie ticket and didn't ask ME if I had a movie ticket! (OK, so I know that wasn't Halloween, but still...haha)

I guess a year isn't all that long, but it seems long when you're thinking about it. I think it's more the fact that I basically wouldn't be able to come home for a year that freaks me out more than the job. I mean, I wouldn't see my parents/cats/friends for a year. That seems kind of bad. I mean, maybe it wouldn't be that bad, but I'd be moving far away which would definately limit the chances I could come home or that people would come see me..

ANYWAYS.

don't feel bad for deciding to quit something you weren't 100% into. you should venture out of florida now that you don't have anything holding you back (well at least after april). go to boston. you've always wanted to do that right?

I plan on venturing out of Florida sometime next year after my lease is up. I want to go somewhere near the mountains like North Carolina or Tennessee or something.
