Well, I should have gotten to pick up my brand new 2008 Silver Toyota Yaris on Saturday, but I didn't. Why might you ask? Because they somehow lost the car they promised me. I don't know how or why, but the car is not going to be mine. I was/am pretty pissed. They can't find any other cars that fit what I want and are the price I'm willing to pay. ( Read more... )

don't settle for less, is all I have to tell you. you should look into other ways of getting a yaris.

Well the only option I have if I still want a Yaris (that has what I want on it) is to wait for the 2009s which they can't seem to tell me will be released! Even then, I'll have to probably wait 3 or 4 months after that to order one that I want. I guess I'll wait...maybe.

i still have my moms old camry. 150,000 miles and still going. the only things that sucks about it are the dents i put in the door from the wretched sandestin parking garage, the broken cup holders in the back from jenny vu's bike and my moms foot, and the missing ash tray up front, from what i assume was a crack head break in.

Yeah. I'm starting to think I'll just hold onto my car until it dies.

Mine has a lot of dents in it too. haha.

That's stupid. I can't believe they screwed that up for you! What jerks! Is it the dealership I got my Mazda3 from? They were nice to me...but maybe the Toyota side isn't as good...hm.

I hope you can get a car somehow...man...that makes me mad for you.

That is stupid. And Yes, it's the same dealer where you got your mazda. My parents have bought several cars from them and no one I know has had an awful experience like this, so I don't know what to think. I just can't understand WHY they would tell me I have a car and make me pay a deposit if they weren't 100 percent sure they could get the car from the other dealer.

It annoys me. A lot. They say my only option if I want a Yaris is to wait for the 2009s, which I guess I'll have to do. Or I actually like the design of the new Honda Fit that comes out this year. I might look at that too. We'll see.

But for now, my balding mazda is with me for a while.
