I still don't have a job, but it's OK. I'm not panicking yet. I had an interview on Thursday and I feel like it went pretty well except the fact that they were interviewing people all day, so I feel like someone with more experience will be chosen over me ( Read more... )

so i can't hear sound on my computer... so if you said anything important or funny :(
I'll just get jenn to watch it on her's so I can listen in.
You apartment is cute! And you're closet looks huge! I feel like you need a little kitty bed in the closet and a kitty bowl under the sink. haha,
Also, yay for salt and pepper shaker variety and using the same moisturizer as me, it has saved my skin from eczema numerous times! and I like your encouraging fridge magnets ; )
I hope we get to come visit you! I really want to see what Portland's like so I can consider moving there when I decide to move in a couple years.

What kind of job did you interview for??

Yeah, I'm talking through like the whole thing which is probably why it wound up being so long. haha.

The closet is big I guess, but I have so much stuff and there's only one closet that it filled up really fast.

And yeah, it would be nice if you guys came to visit Portland! Hopefully by the time you guys do that I'll know the city a little better and actually know some fun things to do besides eat and drink. haha.

The job was working with adolescent boys who were referred by the oregon department of human services for behavioral and/or emotional problems. It's like a residential advisor sort of thing in the home basically helping out therapists by noting behavior and keeping routines and such. It seems interesting. We'll see!

Your closet is huge compared to mine!

Also, it would freak me out to have my bed right next to the front door. I'd probably move it where your chair and tv are, haha.

I think my favorite thing are your little glass cabinet shelves in the kitchen, those are cool. They really do use the space strangely in there, haha...you'd think they'd sacrifice the eating area for more cooking area? It's cute though! Are you happy with it?

It also makes me think I should make a video of my apartment.

You should! I've only seen those few pictures you took when you moved in...

I'm happy with it minus the fact that the kitchen is so small, it's incredibly noisey outside since I live on a pretty major street and my neighboor upstairs never seems to sleep and makes a lot of noise.

And the reason I have my bed there is because all the plug-ins/cable thing for cable/internet are on the opposite wall and I tried to run them all across the floor and tape them so I wouldn't trip on them, but it just wasn't working, so I moved it back. It's not so bad to have the bed right by the door...I mean it goes out into a hallway, not the direct outdoors, so it's OK.

why is there that gaping space under the sink?

dude TWINS. box nightstand FTW.

I'm lovin' the shower window. bring a beer in there with you next time. beer + shower + window = awesome.
