Isn't it weird how you can be going through something so strange and then all of a sudden a random song comes on the radio that captures exactly how you feel? I heard this tonight and it blew me away. Just change the name of the city and its exactly what's going through my head ( Read more... ) -

I had a debate today with a family friend about the nature of friendships. This person and I, with some interjection from my family, argued about the strain and effects emotional baggage brings to the table in terms of how we relate to one another. Things have been really great so far. Good friends, good times, and even a REALLY good movie. However, one thing keeps creeping up on me and giving me a moment's pause. Graduation has come and gone and it was good times all around! The ceremonies were long and boring but well worth the wait once I saw Dr. Casper again. Wow...graduation tomorrow. 3 huge ceremonies, family, friends, being reunited with Dr. Casper after an entire semester without him, dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, and of course the requisite trip to Disneyland. Now is the winter of my discontent...
Wow, I feel like I only update this thing when I feel bad and want to rant. (Hence why I have such relatively few entries). Sadness makes me contemplate, I guess. I'm not sure what's really bugging me. I guess part of me just misses Ron. 2 weeks ago we had this "I miss you so much session..." and we still haven't seen each other. Most amazing week ever. From selection meetings to the football game, it was all unbelievably fantastic. So sad things have to end. -

Okay, so I've watched the RENT trailer like 5 billion times already and I'm already about to cry...that movie is going to absolutely destroy me when it comes out. I'm thinking of going to see it in NY instead of going to the weekender in November.
