I'm a happy ending kind of gal, but it felt right for Cas to return to help his brother get things in order in heaven. However, I also thought there was always the potential for Cas and Dean to meet again in the future. They will, at least, in my head canon.
I love AUs in this fandom so much, especially those that are fantasy-based, and am always excited to see another.
My favorite bit has to do with the swords---Balthazar's particularly. I was so moved that Cas would claim Balthazar's as his own. I considered it a beautiful tribute to his friend.
Haha, the original ending specified that Dean was mooore than likely heading off to go see Cas, but it just came off sounding way cheesy. I'm glad you enjoyed! ;D

Really? Just like that? Not even hinted that they will see each other again? No "happy ending" I can understand, but this is just BULLSHIT. They might as well be both dead. What a fucking waste of time.
Holy moley. This was so well thought out and amazingly executed. IF YOU EVER FEEL LIKE CONTINUING PLEASE DO SO haha. I cannot say how much I loved this story because it is amazing and wonderful and lovely and left me all warm and fuzzy.

There's plenty of room for sequel territory, but I don't know that that'll ever happen. Maybe a time stamp, but no promises. *smish*
