Last week we went on our semester trip to some strangely named farm-amusement park place. I don't get what it is with Japanese and farms-turned-amusement-parks.

Popular... or an oddity to be poked and prodded. All depends on perspective I guess.
Actually, it gets me in trouble. I rarely talk out of turn in class, but the Koreans are always yakking in my ear, and I got my midterm report saying I talk too much with my neighbors in class. wtfever.
