WOW.

alright,i'm supposed to write the good and bad here....but i honestly can't think of any bad stuff to say about this story. oh,wait,i can. i wish it was longer, cause i really enjoyed reading this and didn't want it to end! :D
All of it was just great. Sylar was a true badass. Peter was...Peter. xD I liked how Sylar uses Peter for 'fun,' and that in all honesty they probably couldn't live without each other. Mohinder...when he died i almost cried. Good ole Mohind :D

The ending aswell...cliffhanger! i love it. I added this to my memories i loved it so much. :)

Haha, like I already said earlier: thanks for reading.

Yeah, Peter and Sylar are kind of alone with their abilities, now and forever. They won't admit as much, of course, but in a way they need each other - especially when all else fails. What else is there left for them, anyway?

Mmm, poor Mohinder indeed. Old age caught up with him.

I love the ending. So beautiful. *pets self* Even though it may have been a little cliffhanger-ish ;)

Thanks for dropping me a line - you didn't need to, but I appreciate it nonetheless.

So sad that...you've realy captured the loneliness. They're a couple of messed-up men.

i love cliffhangers! :) i'm glad you like the ending of your own story;its a story to be proud of.

aww,i wanted too.

This was absolutely genius. The writing was sophisticated and emotional. You caught his voice so well, but you went beyond the cannon into what he would become in this situation--caught between old and young. Just amazing.

Thank you!

I'm always extremely glad to hear it when I caught Peter's voice right. He's my favorite character, so... getting him right is kind of an ambition :P

Thank you for reading and dropping me a comment. Glad you enjoyed.

Well... There may have been a Sylar/Peter subtext worth cutting in there somewhere, although it wasn't my intention to make it that way - I wanted to bring to you what I've seen during the 3 season of Heroes between these two characters. And on second thought I must admit that IS something with a subtext :P

I'm glad you enjoyed despite the rather depressing subject matter.

Yeah, Peter's prone to do stuff like this, ins't he? :P

Thanks for commenting once again <3

This is a very interesting, well written story with a fascinating premise. I like the sense of loneliness that permeates the story, the loss that Peter has gone through -- all of his family, his sense of himself as a hero, and of course his own life as he lets himself be "killed" again and again.

I'm a little confused as to why you mentioned time travel early on in the story, though, since that kept me hanging, wondering when Peter would travel back in time to undo the damage done to the world.

The ending does make me think of all the dark, cool places a potential sequel could go, though, so if one stirs your imagination, I'd definitely like to read it!

In my head, and in my speculations, Peter's always been a little afraid of time travel - ever since he lost Caitlin in some bizarre future he almost re-created. Nothing good has ever happened to him there, and it's not very often that changing the past has gone without a hitch.

Oh, certainly, I can agree that Peter's relationship with time travel is a lot more fraught than most characters. Few of the characters have experienced it personally, and barring Future Hiro's visit to Peter in S1, every experience Peter has had time traveling has been quite disastrous. So I would understand a line here or there mentioning that, for all the havoc he and Sylar had caused, he was too afraid of unraveling their world and making things worse with time travel. OTOH, I don't exactly think the idea of time travel needed to be on the table at all. This story takes place post-V4, so if you hadn't mentioned that Hiro had recovered his power, I would have assumed that the time travel ability was permanently lost to both Peter and Sylar.

*bows* Great ideas are meant to be written - although I still think perhaps this would have needed some more details... oh well :D

Indeed, between the people Peter "owed", and Sylar... one of the two was actually comfortable to interact with. With Sylar, Peter didn't have to feel ashamed and inferior. They had a history together, and they shared something no one else could compare with... That creates a sense of unity, I guess. Perhaps that was why Sylar eventually went back for Peter.

Thank you for reading and reviewing!
