so i've been under a philosophy-rock. and i get online and read about this whole "fake writer" jt leroy thing, which i initially failed to comprehend as a hoax. we believe we are living in endtimes because so much information is available that we have come to expect to be informed in areas where information is not necessary and not necessarily

I hadn't heard of J.T. Interesting.

There was all this uproar a while back because this blog, a popular, well written, interesting blog, which was written by an anonymous woman, turned out to actually have been written by a man with a terminal illness. Some of the long time devotees of this blog were angry. They felt they were lied to, that they sympathised with the person who did not actually exist. Others said that even if she was merely a fiction, what had moved them about her story still did.

Unfortunately, i can't find or remember anymore information than that, but it was interesting, and part of the woman/man's blog was still up then.
