I am writing reference letters for a student who is applying to a couple of graduate programs. I feel all growed up! Like an adult academic.

Pretty fly.

I brought my laptop to my friend's last night but no the charger. I didn't shut it down either, thinking it would sleep.

It is dead. I'd been planning to do some work this morning while she slept in but now I'm stuck, unable to work and unable to play games.

I have been at home in Texas.

Am super surprised to discover that people are super racist? Was it always like this? Is it the age groups I've been around (i.e. my parents' age)? Have I just gotten better at noticing?
