Wednesday my grandfather had emergency surgery. He had back surgery back at the begining of November, and ended up with a staf infection. He was on horrible, powerfull antibiotics for months. It's been a successful Spring Break. We had Kenny's Dr's appointment with Dr. K on Tuesday. They gave us melatonin for him to take at bed time and B-12 shots that we are to administer twice a week after he's zonked out on the melatonin. Hopefully this will help him sleep all night.

well, my tax return is gone. We got less this year because we bumped up to the next tax bracket and didn't get everything refunded this year. It really doesn't feel like a great improvement. We took over the payment for the trailer as well as the lot this year, so that's where all the extra goes. We make more, but we really aren't getting ahead ( Read more... ) -

Today was my last day of being Admin Assistant! Yeah! I get to go back to the reception desk Monday.
I'm glad I could jump in between assistants, but that job makes me nuts and I can't keep up with stuff. And there was so much work that had backed up. I think the woman who started this week can handle it, but I'll help where I can.

Painted for 2 straight days (Thursday and Friday). I finished all the striped clown shirts, plus an extra shirt that my Dad bought from me. Also strained my thumb. It hurt a lot on Friday, but I painted anyway, and it feels fine today ( Read more... ) -

My husband got home and was unloading the car when neibors op the street came out of their house. One of the people made a noise that sonded like the zombies in a video game that he plays. He said his hand flinched towards his pistol before he realized he wasn't in a game and zombies aren't real. -

So Thursday D come in and when I ask her what she has for homework she says, "Well... I have to write a paper on a scientist..."
I start asking questions about what kind of paper, did she need to do research, when is it due?
"Uhhh... tomorrow..."
"Tomorrow?"
"Yeah..."
"When did you get this assignment?"
"I just got the paper today."
