I just read that New Line Cinema is making the book Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell into a movie. If you haven't read this book by Susanna Clarke, it is SOOOOOOOOO good. It's about two rival magicians who try to revive magic during the Napoleonic Wars. Think Jane Austen meets Tolkein meets Harry Potter. Anyway, this is good news for us

I'm LOVING it right now. I'm almost half way through. Everything about it seems perfect. I really wish susanna clarke would write another book. but I geuss her debut novel took ten years... sigh... :(

So I might be going to this ball in Hollywood sometime in July. It is called the Labrynth Masquarade ball. The dress I want requires a seamstress and I was wondering if you would maybe like to be my seamstress. I'm not positive I need one yet though. But I want to wear the burgundy dress Scarlett O'Hara wears to Ashley's party in Gone With the Wind. I could get the pattern and fabric but I don't think I could put it all together, alas... so I thought of you. Let me know what you think.
