Ah joy, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to sew. Meg's outfit for my wedding is coming along beautifully....now I only hope it fits. I ended up buying a pattern that is exactly that Versace dress I was obsessing over 18 months ago with the lace up bodice, and I'm doing it in a plum purple satin backed crepe. No shortcuts! okay, so i got bullied/pushed back about wedding date arrangements....last change, I promise! Mom is home from surgery and seems to be doing well. She keeps trying to get up and putter about, but we've mostly got her confined to chair, then bed, then chair again. I thought she would be more incapacitated than she is. Gives me hope....maybe I'll be able to get through mine without being too much of a chicken.
