Tuesday morning crept up on my a little faster than I was expecting. I was just planning on getting home from working, checking a couple things online, and hitting the hay. But nope, doh, need to update this thing. *sighs* As I alluded to, there are a couple of things I'd like to share, but dangit it's 4 AM and I'm going to have to get to it later ( Read more... )

*bumps a phin plush your way*

I myself have been snagged by those "in the present" situations, where
you're justing dealing with it as it comes. I gotta admit, one game in
particular kinda helped me see how important it is to plan ahead, that
being chess. I took a heavy interest in it and still am very much into
playing a good game, through trying to become better in it, I began
to plan things out more IRL. I forgot if you ever played, or if you
play games requiring some foresight, but perhaps something like em
might subtlely and enjoyably help you along?

Otherwise, maybe you should consult a friend or two and ask for their
help in brainstorming what paths you have available for you. If
they're really nice, they might also help "push you along" and
encourage you to change for the better as well!

Just bouncing a few ideas at you, perhaps they'll help, maybe not.
Best of luck and I hope the New Year is a good one for you!

I'm pretty sure last time we hung out I mentioned the autotech blah blah schools to you. How, they have weird little "colleges" for about a year and once you graduate, major employers are lined outside waiting to hire people. Yeah, that's definitely for you if anything.

I'd say definitely look for a career in something you enjoy and don't get sick of. Automechanics and the like for big companies make TONS of money. I don't know about the funds required to go to a school of that sort but... I'm sure it's not impossible to find out.
