Butterfly
M found a caterpillar last week and it cocooned. We've been watching it everyday, and today it turned clear, then when we looked again it had hatched out as a beautiful monarch butterfly.The wings seemed moist and as they dried Mona (m named her) started to flap her wings every now and then. missing my noise makers
house is way too silent.I was so looking forward to my quiet week while the kids went to camp. Next year I might have to send them on different weeks.
A is on his way to West Virginia for his rafting trip, but I could drive to camp and check on M..but I won't. I'm sure she is having a ball.I'll send her a letter.

The day we left I got up early to get everything ready. E came home and took a nap so he could drive all night. I stayed up thinking I could sleep on the way, but that didn't happen.
