Welcome, Mr. Flowright. I'm sorry this place doesn't sit well with you, but we try to make it as nice as possible here.

Thank you. And I'm sorry. It's probably being in a new place that makes it seem that way. I haven't been here long enough to judge it, really.

It's difficult for everyone to start fresh again, especially in an unfamiliar place.

Is there anything you need? Blankets, water, food?

Mm. In some ways though, starting over can be rather refreshing.

I'm fine at the moment, but thank you. I appreciate your kindness very much.

Flowright? What the hell kinda name is that supposed to be?

A surname. Is it really so strange?

frondeuristic May 19 2008, 01:53:32 UTC
What does it mean? "One who doesn't flow left"?

delusionalcheer May 19 2008, 01:57:02 UTC
I suppose so. Or maybe "doesn't flow correctly"? It would explain a few things, certainly.

What about you? What's your name?

...warmer?

I'm Lain. Hello.

delusionalcheer May 19 2008, 02:26:33 UTC
Mm, just a little bit. There are places colder than this.

Hello, Lain. It's nice to meet you. You can call me Fai.

What places?

Fai is a nice name. But it can a boy's or a girl's, right? Are you a boy or girl?

Norway's really cold.

Really? I've never met another Fai. But to answer the question, I'm a boy.

Residents usually settle in and feel more comfortable after a while - but hopefully your stay will not have to be long at all. Feel free to let anyone on the staff know if you need anything.

Mm...I doubt that, but I thank you for your confidence. And I'll let someone know if I do need anything, thank you.

No need to thank me; your well-being is part of my job after all.

You've been to colder places?

I have. Though, not by much, I have to say.

I know the feeling. I lived in Alaska for fifteen years; compared to the winters there, this place is nothing.

Wow, Alaska? Sounds exciting. I was in Norway for quite a bit, but Alaska's supposed to be quite cold too, right?
