Fae Encounters;
The week beginning on the 12th will draw out many of the fae known for luring people away. Fae are especially drawn to children, and any characters who have been aged down will need to be guarded against them. For a start, any characters who have turned into children will be at the mercy of Rawhead and Bloodybones, who will be ensuring that they behave and don't stay up too late.
In the forest, will o' the wisps are rampant and their draw is powerful, but urisks and a lot of hyter sprites are in the forests to help guide people back to the village.
The village will see its own dangers, of course, as bogeymen and the far dorocha will be present, and be much more likely to harrass those affected by the event than those not. Gwyllion will even come down from the mountains to watch the proceedings, and no one will be at ease under their unblinking stare. Grugrachs will be knocking on doors of an evening too.
The loch will see each usige activity, whose glamour will be even stronger to those who are affected by the event than those who are not. The kelpie at the river will be similarly empowered, and at either body of water, the fideal will sing her enchanting song.
From the 19th onwards, other fae will begin to show up again. The baobhan sith will continue her walk between the mountains and the graveyard, and the graveyard itself will be swarming with slaugh and headless ghosts, with one of the black dogs taking up station at its gates, and growling threateningly to anyone who comes too close.
Gwyllion will make their way back to the moutains, though a few may perch on the mansion's gates to disconcert travellers on the road. The mountains themselves will be teaming with stone fae and ogres, as well as a few cu sith on the forest side of the mountains. They will also be down by the river, where the kelpie will continue to remain a threat.
Rather unfortunately, the forest will return to its usual unfriendly state. The trees will twist the paths around for anyone walking in it, and the satyrs, wood woes and hobyah will be dangerous groups within it. Ghille Dhu will be sparse but friendly, and spunkies and hyter sprites will be there to help people out.
The village itself will find an increased number of redcaps showing up. Though small in stature, the bloodthristy little goblins are not to be underestimated in their power.
Please remember that any and all interactions with these fae are completely optional. Here is the
bestiary for more information on the fae!

OOC;
- Players are reminded that
the Queen and the Treefolk brought gifts and supplies. These included: extra supplies of wood, from willow, oak, birch, yew, ash, alder, elder, elm and pine; a small collection of
witch stones - about ten; fruit and meat supplies for a month; and finally a rowan sapling to plant and care for in the village. What people choose to do with these gifts is up to them; they were left in the village square by the Queen and the Trees.
- Please make sure to update your
friends list. You should have 116 journals added. If your journal is not on the friends-add, please let us know asap to sort this out.
- Timeline event information is
here, for anyone who needs a quick reference. The event has started with the Queen's pronouncement, which can be found
here.
